Objectives of the Organisation:

• To Promote and strengthen Community Based /Primary Health Care programmes for the delivery of holistic health care Services.
• To Support and Promote Poverty Alleviation Programme activities/Services through Socio-Economic Empowerment Strategies
• To Promote and Support Early Childhood Development (ECD)/Orphaned & Vulnerable Children (OVC) programme activities.
• To promote and Support Most at Risk Populations Including Disaster Survivors, Orphaned & Vulnerable Children, AGYW, FSW, Women, PWDs, PLWHIV
• To Promote Food Security and Nutrition initiatives through Community Agricultural extension programme activities.

Impact

Supported over 490 OVCs 

Formed 27 OVC VSLA Groups @ 25-30 Members

312 Transactional Sex Workers and FSW provided with psychosocial support and counselling.

Over 600 persons Screened for HIV (Index Testing) for the month of October 2022.

Mobilized 464 VMMC men 15-29 years for uptake of VMMC services.

Mobilized 108 AGWY who joined family planning

Distributed 8928 male condoms

26 VHTs and 15 Health Workers trained in HIV Prevention packages

62 pupils (OVCs) sponsored at Kitiko Primary School for one academic year.

Upgraded and installed solar systems for Namatale Health Centre II

Upgraded and installed solar systems for Lubya Health Centre II

Constructed a drainable toilet at Kitiko Primary School

Over 500 AGYW and OVCs trained in Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) at Bukaali Community Primary School and Kitiko Primary School

Over 800 AGYW trained in income generating activities and vocational skilling (Washable Local Pads production, Liquid soap, bar soap and Shampoo making)
